Soft Goods
The clothes are designed to fit up to size meaning a size 12 months will fit a child up to the age of 12 months. If you’re debating between two sizes, we always recommend going up a size so your child will be able to wear it longer.
Our knits are made by a cooperative of women in Peru. The knitters who make these pieces work in self-managed groups, making decisions as a democracy. Their partnership with Oeuf has made a significant impact on their lives. When you buy these knits, you help transform the lives of women and children in Peru.

Cribs and toddler beds are tested annually to ensure they continue to meet or exceed ASTM, CPSC, and Canadian starndards.
We understand that when babies are teething, they will often chew on anything they can. Rest assured our finishes are non-toxic and will not harm your child. Our cribs meet CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) and ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) standards, and are lead, phthalate, and formaldehyde safe.
If you would like to avoid your child chewing on their crib, several companies manufacture crib rail protectors that you can purchase.

GREENGUARD Gold Certification
The GREENGUARD Gold Certification standard includes health-based criteria for additional chemicals and also requires lower total VOC emissions levels to help ensure that products are acceptable for use in environments like schools and healthcare facilities. In addition to limiting emissions of more than 360 VOCs and total chemical emissions, GREENGUARD Gold Certified products must also comply with requirements of the state of California’s Department of Public Health (CDPH) “Standard Method for the Testing and Evaluation of Volatile Organic Chemical Emissions from Indoor Sources Using Environmental Chambers, Version 1.2 (2017)” (also known as California Section 01350). Office Furniture products that are GREENGUARD Gold Certified are also compliant with the BIFMA X7.1 standard and BIFMA e3 credits 7.6.1, 7.6.2, and 7.6.3.
A summary of the allowable emission limits for GREENGUARD Certification and GREENGUARD Gold Certification is available.
Both the complete UL GREENGUARD Standard and Test Method for Building Materials, Finishes and Furnishings are available for free on UL’s Standards site, COMM2000. The links below will take you to an external website where the documents can be downloaded.

Not all of our pieces use wood glue; however, when we do use glue it is non-toxic and water-based (think Elmer’s). In the process of producing plywood and MDF, only certified CARB 2 adhesives are used.
At the moment, we offer natural birch, walnut stain, and white finishes.
The finishes we use on our furniture are free of VOC health hazards, non-toxic and water-based. We meet all European, US, Canadian and Australian standards for safety and emissions, and our finishes are also approved in Europe for use on children’s toys.
All of the finishes match between collections. For example, a white Classic Dresser will match a white Sparrow Crib.
Please note, though, that since the birch and walnut finishes show the natural grain of the wood and due to the inherent variation in the color of wood, there may be unevenness, and the finishes may not be identical from piece to piece.
Mattresses are not included, but we sell a standard size organic mattress that fits in all of our cribs.
All of our cribs accommodate the Standard U.S. Size Crib mattress - with a maximum dimension of 28" x 52" x 6" thick
